SLOW DOESN'T ALWAYS MEAN NO-THING.

Slow periods are determined by how busy that particular time of year is. We all know the rush before and after Christmas happens world wide, for any business - and the same goes for slow seasons.
Every business suffers from low income periods and low client retention at some point through out the year. Most times, slow periods happen towards the end of February until late July or August. This time of year, there's really not a lot going on. Of course, we have our clients that can't live without them - but there's still a minority that only get lash extensions for a specific occasion. The slow period drops after Christmas because moneys tight, everyone's back grinding at work or uni and the birthdays, festivals and concert only happen here and there.
So what does this mean for you and your business? How can you adjust? What can you do to optimise the slow period?
Well, listen up (or read up? i guess)
I understand clients are income, however just because you're not fully booked - doesn't mean you have nothing to do and nothing to post. Utilise this time to work on some BTS things. Things you wouldn't necessarily find the time (or energy) for if you didn't have the down time.
You can do something like:
create a new mapping infographic and/or guide
edit the video (you've been putting off)
create a pinterest board filled with inspo
send out txt reminders or discount to customers you haven't seen in a whole
rebrand/redesign or relayout the business
deep clean your space
enter income and earnings (dreadful task)
